Organic turmeric (Curcuma longa) is an intense yellow-orange spice that has been used in Asian cuisine for centuries. It is characterized by its spicy, warm taste and its natural curcuminoid content.
Ginger is an integral part of Ayurvedic teachings and is described as hot, energizing and cleansing. The Arabs brought turmeric to the Mediterranean via the old caravan routes as early as 500 BC. The plant contains numerous ingredients that make it very interesting as a proven household remedy. In addition to essential oil, it also contains orange-colored curcuminoids. The total extract is known as curcumin. Unfortunately, the ingredients are poorly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and transported into the blood. The substances are hardly absorbed at all from a tea. The situation is better with extracts in capsule form. The ingredients from black pepper can increase absorption into the body by 2,000% (!). This combination is contained in Turmeric 2400 BIO.
One capsule contains 400 mg organic Curcuma longa extract, adjusted to 24 mg curcumin per capsule. The black pepper naturally also comes from organic cultivation.
