Quinton Isotonic Marine Plasma

The Quinton seawater cure, also known as thalassotherapy, is a proven method for treating various health problems, including rheumatism, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, circulatory disorders and stress. This therapy uses the healing properties of seawater, sea air, sun, algae, mud and sand.
A lesser-known but equally effective variant is the “internal thalasso cure”, in which specially treated seawater is drunk. René Quinton, a French researcher, was the pioneer in this field. He discovered that seawater is the basis of all life and developed the Quinton seawater products, which enable an “inner thalasso cure”.
The seawater used for Quinton Isotonic and Quinton Hypertonic comes from the “zone of sunlight penetration” in the Bay of Arcachon in France. This zone, at a depth of 10 to 30 meters, contains what Quinton calls “marine plasma”, water with a higher content of bioactive minerals. Extraction takes place under strict rules in order to preserve the unique properties of the marine plasma.
Quinton Isotonic corresponds to the isotonicity of blood plasma and is brought to the osmotic pressure of human blood plasma by mixing it with natural spring water. The products are prepared in a sterile medium without heating in order to preserve the molecular balance of the valuable seawater.
The manufacturing company, Laboratoires Quinton, remains true to the original method of its founder and follows the standards of the European Pharmacopoeia. The seawater is taken from a specially equipped ship, analyzed, micro-filtered, preserved at a low temperature and transported to the production facility in Alicante in compliance with strict quality standards.
Cold microfiltration is crucial to preserving the beneficial properties of seawater. Research has shown that Quinton products are more than a simple salt solution; they are a complex colloidal solution. The entire manufacturing process, from extraction to bottling, is carried out under strict hygienic conditions to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the products.
